As the band puts it, “A five-song horror story told in short violent bursts,” Even Pain Counts is the latest offering from Massachusetts-based grindcore trio BLAST SHIELD, released in May 2023. The band finds themselves fine-tuning their stylistic chaos after a series of singles (including a cover of Nasum‘s “The Final Sleep“) and their 2019 longer-play Wrought.
