Boston-based funeral-sludge purveyors TEARS FROM A GRIEVING HEART take inspiration from the likes of Mournful Congregation (getting their name from their first album), Thergothon, and Bell Witch while incorporating elements of death metal and sludge.   After some lineup changes and a demo, the band found themselves in a position to write their debut offering – An Endless Cycle of Wrenching Pain… If Only I Could Feel Hate (2023 – independent).

Recorded and mixed by Otto Klammer and then mastered by Zach Weeks at GodCity Studios, An Endless Cycle of Wrenching Pain… If Only I Could Feel Hate is saturated in grief, sorrow, rage, despair, and deep melancholy. It aims to portray that anger cannot exist without sorrow. It is the band’s intent that there is no resolve to be found in the confines of the music, time only heals so much after all, and resolution is not always so easily found.
