Photos: LEATHER LUNG (Cambridge, MA) – 2023/09/16

Groovy sludgekickers from the depths of the Northeast, LEATHER LUNG teased, pleased, and sleazed the packed room playing favorites from Lonesome, On’ry and Evil (2019 – Magnetic Eye Records) and last year’s Dive Bar Devil (2022 – Magnetic Eye Records) extended-plays. Someone from the audience even passed an actual skeleton sky to vocalist Mike Vickers during the song “Skeleton Key.”

The band was recently in the studio with Chris Johnson (Deafheaven, Doomriders, Sexless Marriage) recording what will be their debut full-length – which is expected to drop in spring of 2024.
