Photos: LESSER GLOW (Everett, MA) – 2022/08/26

By far, one of the loudest bands to ever perform at the intimate rock’n’roll and art focused brewery just north of Boston. You could hear sonic riffs, howling screams, and thunderous drums from a quarter-mile away. Bone Up Brewing threw a 4-day party which saw performances from 16 bands on their “Loading Dock” stage. Pretty sure LESSER GLOW cracked the foundation. 

The idea of LESSER GLOW grew as a response to the unrealistic progression of heavy music in recent years. The lineup of the band came together organically. The band consists vocalist Alec Rodriguez of the late Proselyte, guitarist Ben Gram formerly of Irepress, Seth Botos is a session drummer and music teacher, Andrew Nault is a session drummer for electro-post-hiphop outfit Arms And Sleepers, and Rare Futures bassist David Marvuglio. The fact that all members are experienced professionals is a restraining factor when it comes to aligning schedules, but it has also helped the band stay focused on the essentials.
