NRP is against pay-to-play gigs. At times it may be encouraged for a band to sell tickets, but never required.
Specific show details are emailed to your band but below are the standard details that apply to all shows.
We require contact information from at least one member of your band including a cell phone number and email address. This is to ensure proper communication especially if there is an issue or emergency.
We prefer to use your band’s logo on fliers and promotions. It assists in the branding of your band as well as improves overall appearance of promotional material. For the best quality and ease, please email us a high resolution image (.jpg / .png) or Photoshop (.psd / .eps) file of your band’s logo. (note: if you do not make available your bands logo, then chances are your logo will not be used and a substitution will be used in place per NRP’s discretion)
Promotional responsibility is shared between the bands, NRP and any other 3rd party support. Please do your best to promote the show in any way you can. Using social communities (Facebook, PureVolume, Twitter, ReverbNation, etc…) and forums are excellent methods. All show fliers are available in a high resolution format to post digitally and print. Please review your local posting laws, NRP will not be held responsible for any fines/penalties you may receive. We expect all bands to actively promote all shows, if your band does not actively promote, chances are you will not be asked on another show.
With all endeavours, please be professional. Dropping out of shows last minute with no notice, acts of violence, or any other inappropriate behavior or disrespect will not be tolerated and your band will be banned from future NRP shows. It is common courtesy to stick around to hear the other bands. Please plan to be at the show as long as possible.
NRP does a lot to promote shows and we always try to take care of the bands we work with. Any support from bands and parties involved is greatly appreciated.
