We are happy to announce that we are starting our very own record label, THRESHOLD OF PAIN RECORDS! Now don’t get too excited, it’s not a major, full scale effort. We are only going to be releasing music on vinyl, and very limited in pressings at that. All releases will come on high quality (180-200 gram), colored/configuration/glow-in-the-dark vinyl. Only one pressing of each release will happen, so once they are gone, they are gone forever.
This is something for the collectors, for vinyl enthusiasts, for the fans that love having that special tangible item. As if being limited edition is not enough, some releases will be quite unique including a series of 4-way splits with the concept of featuring two songs from four bands – one song being new and another being a cover. We are not looking so much to take a new band and develop them, but to take bands with a solid following of fans who would appreciate an exceptional and one of a kind (so to speak) release.
The first release is tentatively planned for January/February of 2013. Details will be announced this Fall.
