BARONESS Bus Crash In UK, Injuries Reported

Baroness Bus Crash 2012-08-15 photo 1News is breaking that BARONESS  have been involved in a serious bus accident while traveling in the UK.  Their tour bus crashed and fell over 30 feet over a viaduct.

It’s been reported that emergency services we brought around 11.30 BST at the intersection of Brassknocker Hill B3108 and the  Warminster Road A36 in Bath.  It’s been said that two people have been trapped, while injured, and several other people suffering from more minor injuries.  The two persons trapped have been freed.

Avon and Somerset Police Inspector Nick Hunt commented:

“Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident. At this stage it is too early to tell what the cause was.”

The group played at The Fleece in Bristol on Tuesday last night.

According the the BBC, an Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said the incident involved a coach which had left the road with approximately nine passengers on board.  The fire service said the two trapped victims had now been released by firefighters. The pair had suffered multiple fractures, a Great Western Ambulance Service spokeswoman said. One of those patients was taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol and the other to the Royal United Hospital in Bath. A spokeswoman for the service said:

“There were seven other patients who had suffered more minor injuries and they were all taken to the Royal United Hospital.”
