According to The Gauntlet, the next bail hearing for Blythe, is scheduled for next Thursday, July 19th. The LAMB OF GOD frontamn has been detained for just shy of 4 weeks now.
Blythe has been taken into custody in Prague, Czech Republic in connection with the death of a fan two years ago, and though after posting approximately $200,000 in bail as still not been released. Though being held, prosecutors have yet to charge him with a crime.
Randy Blythe‘s wife, Cindy, has flown over to Prague this week and has been granted access to speak with her husband. The two hour meeting took place yesterday and was followed by a brief speaking to reporters outside where Cindy stated she “believes he is innocent.”
Cindy Blythe told reporters:
“It was really good to see him.”I miss him very much and I really hope I get to see him soon, and that we’ll be together again soon. So this was a special day, getting to see him. I think it’s terrible what happened — that the kid lost his life and his family lost him — but I believe [Randy] is innocent. That’s what I believe.”
