Shockwave 2012 featuring headliners FEAR FACTORY and VOIVOD with additional support from CATTLE DECAPITATION, MISERY INDEX, HAVOK, LAST CHANCE TO REASON, and THE BROWNING is said to be cancelled. The tour having already lost REVOCATION, VILDHJARTA, FORGED IN FLAME, and DIRGE WITHIN in earlier weeks seemed to be struggle maintaining. No formal announcement has been made.

VOIVOD have comment regarding their dropoff from the tour. As per their Facebook:
“Shockwave tour is no longer as advertised, Voivod really wanted to be touring but the situation was out of the band’s control and the tour producers could not live up to the promises.”
MISERY INDEX posted on their Facebook that they have dropped from the Shockwave.
“Due to a series of unfortunate events, we’re not doing any shows on any shockwave/Fear Factory/Voivod etc. tour. It’s cancelled. Sorry for the confusion, we are extremely upset about this and sorry to any fans who bought tix.”
LAST CHANCE TO REASON has taken to their Facebook to clear the dust around the Shockwave Festival, telling us that is in fact cancelled.
“We regret to inform you, even though most of you know, Shockwave Festival is cancelled. We love you all and hope to see your faces soon! -Mike”
