In the sixth piece to our Zombie Apocalypse segment, where we are asking band members what they would do if a zombie outbreak happened, we have CARNIFEX drummer Shawn Cameron.
You’re at your house alone, when The TV starts transmitting a warning that zombies are coming and will be in your location at dusk. Phones are already dead, along with cell phones and the internet… What would you do first?
Well, first I guess I’d rethink my religion haha! Then I’d run to Walmart across the street and buy ammunition. depending on if people were freaking out or not I’d also grab a chain saw and a machete. I’d actually just fill up a shopping cart of ammo and food and roll out! haha
You need to gather supplies and only have daylight to reach 2 locations, where do you go?
I guess since I already gathered my supplies I would go to my wifes work to pick her up and then my sister’s house. My brother in law has a safe full of guns.
You happen across a band member and they are infected but not a zombie yet, what do you do?
I love the guys in my band but they can also annoy the piss out of me so if he wanted me to kill him I would be sort of bitter sweet haha! I would if he wanted me too. If not, then I’d say,”You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay with me!”
Zombies follow you back to your house, you run inside to arm yourself and can only carry three weapons, what are they?
AK-47, Sawed off Shotgun, and a .45.
You don’t have time to bring all your stuff, you grab a dufflebag, what do you put in it?
Ammunition and underwear!
Zombies are breaking into your house, you run out the back door, where do you go?
I’d probably go around the block once so that there wouldn’t be a bunch of Zombies standing around my Brother in Laws trucks. Then I don’t really know where we’d go. Probably out of the city…or a gun store. LOL
How would you travel?
The B.I.L. has a couple of lifted trucks that we’d be running over Zombies in.
Would you look to build a group or travel alone?
Build a group. My wife and whoever else of my family I can find first. Then friends and then anyone else that isn’t infected.
You’re surrounded! Kill yourself or become one of them?
It’d probably be lights out for me. I can’t see living as a Zombie awesome! If my wife was with me I’d kill her so she wouldn’t have to see me die.
