You have a very gothic look and style to many of your photos, what inspired this?
What you call “gothic look”, I prefer to call it an exoteric manifestation of luminous darkness. While growing up, and unlike the majority of people around me, I was striving to break the societal limitations of what is considered to be beauty or proper appearance. It might have been the time of acausal fire started flickering within me, and my shell was maturing in the image of the twofold primordial feminine principle, Lilith and the beauteous Naamah. Thus, the rather fair hair mellowed to jet long black, the pale skin was exposed more, and the face was transfigured in the grace of Her formless shadow.
How long have you been modeling and what got you into it?
I have been modeling for approximately five years. The ones that physically got me into it were my beloved friends and exceptional artists Zirconia Starfighter and John Tsilidis, each one of them holding pioneer position in the ranks of alternative modeling. My urge to continue modeling has stemmed from my utmost disgust towards the lawfulness of human mass, the cosmic barriers in which the claybornes have chosen to live, the trap, which the light of creation has settled for the insects in human form. Hopefully, a few will realize the discord of social order, of well-advertised “beauty”, hopefully a few will awake.
Any notable achievements or moments your proud of in your career so far?
I have collaborated with amazing models, such as Zirconia Starfighter and excellent photographers, like John Tsilidis, Aggelos Michalopoulos, Achilles Samaras, Charis Giannopoulou, Konstantinos Liakos, Dmitriy Shevelev, Tasos Oraiopoulos, etc. I could refer in detail to these collaborations or publications, which have been all of great significance, but that would be more than obvious and commonplace. I consider as a notable moment in my career, in my life, each and every second I come closer, I get to know and fulfill my Wyrd, evolving and cultivating my acausal Self towards the Primal Source.
When you’re not modeling, what do you like to do?
Striving to excel the hindrance and restraints of the causal forms, the mundane barriers, exceeding myself to physical, ethical and spiritual limits. I study, I draw, I workout, I endeavor to exult in life with my companion and thus liberate ourselves in the streams of Atazoth.
What are some bands you have been listening to a lot lately?
I am, in my very most excitement, looking forward to two new releases, “Liber Lvcifer” (Thy Darkened Shade) and “The Wild Hunt” (Watain). Other than that, I am ceaselessly listening to the gems that the greek scene has offered the lately, such as “Eternvs Mos, Nex Ritvs” (Thy Darkened Shade), “Sunyata” (Acrimonious), “Amenti” (Acherontas), “A Breed of Parasites” & “A Cursed Heritage” (Dodsferd), “Isotheos” (Kawir), while on my top list there are always Nadiwrath, The One, End and Devathorn. I am also overwhelmed by acts from serbian underground scene, referring to Triumfall and Dead Shell of Universe. And last, but not least, my love for death/doom metal remains intact, looking forward to the new full-length of Doom.Vs and having the great pleasure to have listened to some excellent releases lately, like “Saturn in Ascension” (Saturnus), “The Manuscript” (My Dying Bride), “The Giant” (Ahab), “Formless” (Morning Beloveth), “Atra Mors” (Evoken), and the little older ones, like “Papagon of Dissonance” (Esoteric) and “Absence” (Shattered Hope).
Have you gone to any recent concerts, who did you see?
Yes, and I was excited to see once more one of my favorite bands, Saturnus, with Shattered Hope as their amazing support. Also, I had the chance to attend one of the best greek black metal events, with Kawir, Acherontas and The One. On other recent live events, to my disappointment, VON cancelled their live performance, however, the night was set on fire by the mighty Terrörhammer, so pity to the ones that decided not to attend the event.
What bands did you first start listening to or that got you into this kind of music?
Unlike the traditional way of getting into metal music culture, there were three alternative rock albums that actually drew me into the musical journey, and that opened a whole new world for me at my very early teens. “Blood Sugar Sex Magik” (Red Hot Chili Peppers), “Siamese Dream” (The Smashing Pumpkins) and “Showbiz” (Muse). And then a whole world of albums and bands started to unravel before my eyes, with some appearing as milestones considering the way my musical taste was chiseled, including the first albums of Metallica, Slayer and Venom, and bands I discovered a little later such as Rotting Christ (early albums), Burzum, Satanic Warmaster, Dissection, My Dying Bride, Empyrium and many more.
If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Let’s make them four. The true nexions to the fires of Sitra Ahra.
“Eternvs Mos, Nex Ritvs” – Thy Darkened Shade
“Sunyata” – Acrimonious
“Reinkaos” – Dissection
“Lawless Darkness” – Watain
Advice? Fireborns, need to take advice only from their very own Selves, and act accordingly, in order to eliminate any physical and mental weakness, crush the hylic ego and awake the Dragon within. Thus, no advice for my partner, only reinforcement of the impetus, our true will, to become as one, as Taninsam and Tan’iniver, and open the eye of Abaddon in the illumination of Black Light.
Are you a brief, thong, granny panties, or commando kinda gal?
I am the kinda gal that does not answer questions about her lingerie. You should have guessed already.
Star Wars or Star Trek?
Star Game, as introduced by Order of the Nine Angles.
What’s the most inspiring, crazy, or most memorable thing that has happened to you?
There are more than one. They are all these times that the gifts of true gnosis and enlightenment are given by Lucem Ferre to man and all these times the veil of the demiurgic light cracks and the Black Dragon of acausal fire manifests, breaking the shackles of cosmic lawfulness, opening the gates to the leftwise currents and forces of primordial Chaos. These are the most inspiring moments for me. Vedar-Gal Tiekals Somdus Azerate!
