What made you decide to join Ladies of Metal?
It really comes down to my love for music. I’ve always loved music and I think it’s so important to support artists who create things you appreciate; it’s a win-win situation for both sides. The ladies of LoM are not only gorgeous but incredibly genuine and sincere in their passion for music. I’ve wanted to be involved in the music industry in some way and LoM does exactly what I’ve been looking for.
Do you model outside of LoM? If so, anything special or milestones you would like to mention?
A little bit, but I devote a majority of my time to LoM now. Before joining LoM, my greatest milestone was probably being in the top 16 of 60+ girls in a contest for our local rock/metal station called Rock Girl. Being able to compete against other bad ass chicks and make it that far was definitely humbling.
What’s your favorite tattoo on yourself?
This is a hard one! I can honestly say I love them all. My tattoo artist, Ryan Adams, does incredible traditional work. If I had to choose one, it’d be the memorial pieces on my feet for my grandma and grandpa.
When you’re not modeling, what can you be found doing?
Playing video games, haha! I love MMORPGs in particular. I’m currently hooked on Guild Wars 2 and anticipating Final Fantasy XIV because I’m a huge Final Fantasy nerd.
What bands are you currently really into?
Right now I’m super into The Acacia Strain again with their new album having just come out. Angry music is the best music.
Who are your all time favorite bands?
They change a lot but lately, besides TAS, I’ve been listening to Rose Funeral, Upon A Burning Body, Volumes, Structures, and this local band called Knight Of The Round who cover Final Fantasy music.
What was the first concert you attended?
Oh man, I was 14 and I made my aunt take me to see My Chemical Romance, haha! Before that, I attended random local shows here and there but that was my first real concert. At that age, seeing your favorite band at the time, it was such an eye opening and touching experience. I’ve been hooked on shows since.
Who would you say is the hottest musician?
This is gonna be super weird but this chick musician called Porcelain Black. Other than that, it’s just all about the music for me.
What really turns you on?
People who got their shit together, know what they want in life and aren’t afraid to go for it. I always look for headstrong people to surround myself with. If your mouth doesn’t have a filter, you live for yourself, and you got your own thing going on; we’re gonna be awesome friends.
If you could be a cartoon character, who would you be?
I’d be a Sailor Scout is a heartbeat! Moon Kingdom, holla at ya girl!
